Joist offers a range of features to help contractors calculate material and labor costs when estimating and invoicing, build a list of commonly used items, customize estimates and invoices with company information and logos, attach client contracts and collect signatures directly on the spot, and preview estimates and invoices before sending. Contractors can also attach photos to their estimates and invoices, print or email them on the spot, create personal messages for clients, convert estimates into invoices, keep track of customer payments and how much they are owed, manage and save client information, set tax rates, and export everything into their accounting program. Joist is used by all types of general and specialty trade contractors, estimators, and service companies, such as general contractors, handymen, electricians, plumbers, builders, landscapers, roofers, painters, carpenters, heating and air conditioning, flooring, siding, tile, concrete, paving, bathroom and kitchen remodeling, renovators, deck builders, drywallers, pest control, and more. The app is available on Android, iPhone, iPad, and desktop computer, and customer support is available 8AM-10PM EST M-F via email, live chat, and phone. In-app purchases are available for Quickbooks Sync Monthly, Quickbooks Sync Annual, JoistPro Monthly, and JoistPro Annual. Monthly and annual subscriptions will automatically renew after 30 and 365 days, respectively, and payment for these subscriptions will be charged to the Play Store account at the confirmation of purchase. The subscription will automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current subscription period. Users can manage their subscription in their Play Store subscriptions page any time after subscribing.
